Lake Tahoe Community Outreach

MacDuff's Pub has been a partner of the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe for many years. We support their mission which is "To enable all young people to reach their full potential." Their afterschool, summer and break programs provide for more than 1,200 Tahoe kids. MacDuff's has been a major donor for their annual Golf Classic held at Edgewood Tahoe every October, and recently donated to their new Angel of Tahoe clubhouse.

No matter what social, societal, or economic barriers exist—SOS Outreach believes every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. We start with powerful outdoor experiences as it’s on the slopes and trails that kids unearth the courage to step outside of their comfort zones, discover new strengths within themselves and develop lifelong skills. SOS Outreach helps local youth build resiliencey through mentoring outdoors and empowers kids in our communities to discover their true potential. Our 5+ year partnership with MacDuff's has enabled Tahoe youth to connect back to their community through food and nutrition, to access new summer programs, and to celebrate our most valuable resource, our Volunteers.
